Review: The Discover More card is receiving a lot of attention lately as it’s one of the few credit cards that, when opened, gives a number of options including a 15 month 0% balance transfer to any transfer requested while applying for the card.  Generally, it’s possible to also call to request a transfer during a short period after being accepted. You can even choose from 30 different card colors.

It carries a low intro rate of 0% APR on purchases for twelve months.  Afterwards, it jumps to 11.99% or more.

0% APR on purchases and transfers for the first 12-15 months, with 4% balance transfer fees.  After signup,  the fee is either $10 or 5%, depending on which is greater.  There is no annual fee.

Review: The Discover More Card is great if you plan to spend a lot of money.  It gives up to 5% cashback on travel, gas, and restaurant purchases, and at least 1% cashback on everything else.  With 0% interest for the first 6 months, it can give you some breathing room if you plan to travel, remodel your home, or simply eat out a lot.  The 5% balance transfer fee effectively negates the benefit of its 0% balance transfer offer however.  With no maximum, this card is a poor choice for those looking to transfer large balances to the card.
