Review: The Citizen’s Bank Platinum Mastercard can be a bit complicated to understand, but brings with it a good Balance Transfer Offer. Additionally it has no no annual fees.

It carries a low intro rate of 0% APR for six months. Afterwards, it jumps to 13.99% or more.

0% APR on purchases and transfers for the first 6 months, a $10 transfer fee or 3% of the transfer up to a $60 maximum if the balance transfer is requested at the time of application. After the application, the fee increases to $10 or 4% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is higher. There is no annual fee.

Citi Platinum Select Mastercard

Review: The Citi Platinum Select card is great if you plan on making some large purchases and would like to pay no interest on them for 12 months (7 months if your credit is not sufficiently high enough). If your looking to transfer balances to the card you’ll pay 3% of the amount transferred which lessens the benefit of the 0% introductory rate. Despite this fee, considering the no interest for 12 months on purchases, this is a good card to have.
