Review: The L.L.Bean card is primarily targeted to those that shop at their stores as it provides free shipping and monogramming. It offers a 0% APR for the first 6 billing cycles on balance transfers.  Transfers carry a 4% fee, capped at $50.

The capped fee is what makes this card worth considering for many.

The truly amazing part of the card is that during the first 6 months of use you receive an UNLIMITED UNCAPPED amount of cashback on all purchases.  Every purchase made gives a 5% cashback which of itself is fairly unheard of, but to have no caps or limit on the amount of cashback available makes this a truly a unique credit card off.

It carries a low intro rate of 0% APR on purchases for 12 months.  Afterwards, it jumps to 13.24% or more.

0% APR on purchases and transfers for the first 12 months, with 3% balance transfer fees.  After signup,  the fee is either $5 or 3%, depending on which is greater.  There is no annual fee. You must be an AARP member to receive the card, anyone can become an associate member for $11-$16/year.

Review: The Harrah’s Total Rewards Platinum Plus Visa card, besides being a mouthful to say, is an interesting card with some very good potential. This is one of the few credit cards that, when opened, gives a number of options including a 7-10 month 0% balance transfer to any transfer requested while applying for the card.  Generally, it’s possible to also call to request a transfer during a short period after being accepted.
